Join us for the 35th annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, running October 22-26, 2024–a unique cultural event that exhibits outstanding films and highlights our filmmakers, province, and industry. The festival celebrates films written or directed by women and gender-diverse artists year-round and hosts a signature five-day international festival and film industry forum. As Canada’s longest-running women’s film festival, SJIWFF has been championing gender equality since 1989, with a vision of supporting and promoting women’s creative work in screen-based industries locally and internationally.
