2024 is the Year of the Arts, a celebration of Newfoundland and Labrador’s rich arts and cultural sector. The Year of the Arts is celebrating Newfoundland and Labrador’s unique and colourful arts community. Celebrate NL’s Arts Celebration Fund provided support to professional arts organizations as a way to elevate capacity building in the arts sector. 2024 marks the 75th year of the province’s Confederation with Canada. The Confederation 75 Celebration Grant Program offers funding to communities, heritage organizations and Indigenous groups in Newfoundland and Labrador wishing to commemorate this historic anniversary.
