  • Outreach (i.e. coaching, volunteering, education)

    • *Activities may be delivered as a single event/initiative or as a series of events/initiatives. Eligible organizations may apply only once to this fund.

    Eligible Costs

  • Eligible costs include initiative-based expenses.
  • Operational and capital expenses are not eligible.

    • Program Assessment Criteria

  • Initiatives must be related to increasing sport and active recreation
  • Initiatives must occur in 2025
  • Initiatives must be new or enhanced
  • Initiatives should be intended for and broadly accessible to the public

    • *Applicants are welcome to partner with other organizations in the pursuit of the proposed event/initiative.

    F. AUTHORIZATION AND SIGNATURES


    I certify that, to the best of my knowledge, the information provided in this grant application is accurate and complete and is endorsed by the organization that I represent, and that I am authorized to enter into funding agreements on behalf of my organization. I certify that my organization meets the basic eligibility criteria of the Special Projects in Sport Fund referenced in this application. I also certify that if successful for funding my organization will abide by all terms and conditions herein which will form the Agreement between the Parties.
    If funded:

  • I agree to use the funding only for the purposes outlined in the original application;
  • I agree to submit a detailed final report by January 31, 2026;
  • I agree to acknowledge the Year of Sport funding contribution where appropriate;
  • I agree to return to Celebrate NL any funds not used for the purposes outlined in the application; and
  • I agree that goods purchased with the provided funds may not be sold or passed on to a third party.
