In August of 2021, the U16 Girls Eastern Canadian Softball Championships were held in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. This exciting event brought together some of the best young softball players from across Eastern Canada to compete in a high-level tournament.
The championships were held at Lions Park, a beautiful softball facility located in the heart of St. John’s. The park provided an excellent venue for the tournament, with multiple fields and a lively atmosphere that kept fans engaged and excited throughout the games.
The tournament was fiercely competitive, with each team vying for the title of Eastern Canadian Softball Champion. Teams from Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec all participated in the tournament, showcasing the depth and quality of softball talent across the region.
The U16 Girls Eastern Canadian Softball Championships provided an excellent opportunity for Newfoundland and Labrador to showcase its passion for softball and its ability to host top-level tournaments. The event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the local softball community, who worked tirelessly to ensure that the tournament was a success.
